The beginnings of this adventure took shape in December 2023, with in-depth soil studies and the creation of a detailed map of the different plots. After this essential mapping, the second phase consisted of selecting the plant material best suited to each type of soil. The gravelly soils will promote the optimal development of the plants, mainly from mass selection.

Upon our arrival in April 2024, a careful inspection of the existing vineyard was undertaken: the behavior of the vines and the surrounding vegetation proves to be a valuable indicator of soil health. After meticulous cleaning of the plots, planting began in spring 2024 on plots with high potential.

Planning the technical itineraries and the various works to be undertaken: the collaboration and involvement of the teams constitute an essential pillar to make this renewal a success. Agroecology guides our thinking, aiming to promote biodiversity and make the Château de Malle vineyard a green sanctuary. Each plantation is meticulously designed with a view to developing, by 2025, a landscape highlighting a variety of species and plant layers.

The vineyard is already certified in organic farming, demonstrating our commitment to preserving soil health. Patience is now essential, giving us time to mature our projects and savor the fruits of our labor.
